2009 Rec Center Camp
Kent Parks and Rec provides families two summer camps to choose from. Plum Creek Camp is an outdoor camp and is open from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Recreation Center Camp provides those working families the convenience of having care available from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at a reasonable cost. Both camps have excellent staff and offer a summer full of exciting activities.
2009 Day Camp at Plum Creek Park
This camp is ideal for those working families who may not necessarily work all day but needs a safe environment for their child part of the day. This camp offers many outdoor learning experiences as well as field trips and swimming each week.
Camp Length : 10 Weeks
Begins: June 8
Ages: 6 - 12 year olds
Days: Mon – Fri
Times: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Plum Creek Park
Weekly Cost: $ 64.00 res $ 72.00 non res and $ 10.00 registration fee, includes t’shirt
Maximum # of Enrollment: 50 children
2009 Day Camp at Kent Recreation Center
This camp is perfect for those families who need care for their child all day long. This is our newest program and is licensed through the State of Ohio Child Care Unit. The program offers 11 full weeks of day camp. The children receive a breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, & field trips and swimming each week.

Begins: June 9, Tuesday
Ages: 6 – 12 yr olds
Days: Mon – Fri
Times: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Kent Recreation Center
Weekly Cost: $ 95.00 res $103.00 non res. and $ 10.00 registration fee, includes t’shirt
Second Child Discount $ 5.00 per wk per child
Full Time County Vouchers Accepted
