Forest Lake Wildlife Preserve

Park Entrance and Wetlands Interpretive Station

This land was acquired in 1996 in cooperation with the developer of Forest Lake Subdivision. The park was expanded from 28 to 38 acres in 1997 through a donation from the Liske Family.   In 2003 the park was expanded again by 7.7 acres through a Wetlands Mitigation Donation bringing the total acreage to 45.7.   A 14-car parking lot, recycled plastic lumber boardwalk, which crosses a wetland, picnic area, two lakes, and over one mile of nature trails, are available to the public.
