SILVERSNEAKERS®
coming to Kent November 1, 2011 and will continue year round.

What: SILVERSNEAKERS® CARDIO CIRCUIT - Combine fun with fitness to
increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a
standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held
weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is
alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered
for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

Who:     Anyone 65 and over
When:   Tuesday and Thursday’s from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Where: Kent Recreation Center 1115 Franklin Ave (across from Holden Elementary School)
Cost:      Free if you have a SilverSneakers Card if not, $2.00 per session
Exercise for 45 minutes and stay after to socialize with friends over coffee, tea, and snacks.

Kids Nite Out

A Kids Nite Out!! 6 -12 yr olds
First Saturday of the month
6 p.m. – 10 p.m at the Kent Rec Center
Kids like to have a fun nite out too! Let them come join their friends
at the Kent Rec Center once a month to experience different themes,
fun activities, dinner that our wonderful staff has put together for them.
February’s theme is Space Adventure!!!
