Seasonal Park Maintenance Workers
Part time positions available with Kent Parks & Recreation for seasonal Park Maintenance Workers. Duties include; and not limited to: 4-8 work hours per day with a start time anywhere from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. The department is willing to work around an existing schedule. This position begins April 1st.
Much of the job entails grooming ball fields; but not limited to. The applicant should be familiar with a baseball and/or softball field, having played is a plus but not required. The applicant needs to be able to shovel and rake dirt. The applicant should be familiar with small machinery: weed-eaters, leaf blowers, lawn tractors. Experience driving a van with small trailer is a plus, but not required.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and some weekends. Wages $10.00 per hour. Apply at Kent Parks & Rec Office, Fred Fuller Park at 497 Middlebury Rd., Kent, OH. EOE
